The
development of Holiday Lake Estates was started in the 1960's and
only a few lots still remain to be developed. Custom built homes sit on
1/2 acre lots, (give or take a few square feet), with some of the most
spectacular views and pleasant natural surroundings with mature live oak
trees and pines. Silicon Valley, San Francisco, the
Monterey Peninsula and Pacific beaches are all within easy
reach. There are about 9951 households with an average

A
$23 million project that was recently approved will allow for
several major improvements to Highway 152 between Pacheco Pass and Highway
101 in the Gilroy. Improvements to the Highway 101 and Highway 152
interchange will widen a section of Highway 152 from two lanes to
four, and install traffic signals at Frazier Lake Road, Furlong Avenue,
and Ferguson Road. Much of the widening project is expected to be
completed by early 2003. The completion date for the traffic signals is
the fall of 2004. The project is being funded by a half-cent sales tax
that Santa Clara County voters approved in 1996.
